Jeddah vibes 🌇
Check-in was sharp-sharp, and the staff were super friendly. My room had this lekker Nespresso machine that just made my mornings! Loved the comfy bed too, slept like a baby. Facilities like the gym were nice, even though it was men-only—plenty to enjoy!
But brekkie could’ve been better, a bit dull on the choices side.

During my stay at Moevenpick Hotel City Star, I appreciated the comfortable bed and effective AC in my room. I highly commend the housekeeping that ensured my room was fresh each day.

Diving into the local dishes was a blast! The breakfast spread was a cheerful feast, with loads of halal options to get your taste buds dancing. The comfy bed turned my nights into dreamy escapes, while housekeeping kept everything in tip-top shape.
Now, not to sugarcoat too much, but the room's age showed, with a funky carpet vibe and an air con that felt more like a humid cloud than a desert oasis. Plus, the open buffet at 220 SR was a letdown with its limited choices.

I booked a last-minute stay at Moevenpick Hotel City Star due to an 11-hour layover. Arriving at 3:30 am, I was greeted warmly by the front office staff. They checked me in quickly, even before my Expedia confirmation appeared. The room felt clean upon arrival, and the concierge was particularly helpful that early in the morning. there were some issues. the bathtub design didn’t prevent water from spilling all over the bathroom since it lacked a proper door. I also noticed some mold in the corners of the bathroom, which made me uncomfortable. I asked for my room to be cleaned while I was out, but when I returned, nothing had been done despite speaking to the manager. Luckily, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked effectively in the summer heat. Housekeeping maintained cleanliness daily, refreshing the towels and supplies. The location is convenient for those needing quick access to the airport. Careem taxis arrived almost instantly at the door. I especially loved enjoying a couple of coffees from the in-room Nespresso machine, a nice touch in a spacious room. The breakfast looked good from what I saw but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it due to an early flight. the hotel has beautiful features, yet some management and maintenance enhancements are needed.
